For upgrade from 8.3 to 8.9 (December 2006) and from 8.9 to 9.0 (July 2009), documented existing customizations, wrote specifications for new customizations, created and executed test scripts for delivered and custom processes. Configured and tested open enrollment using PeopleSoft 8.9 eBenefits. Restructured benefit program and benefit plan organization to improve administration and maintainability. Converted benefit enrollments and implemented benefit setup for retirees whose benefit administration had previously been outsourced. Added new benefit plans and ran snapshot for Canadian employees. Provided production support for administrators.

Implemented PeopleSoft 8.0 Ben Admin open enrollment and event maintenance, using eBenefits for election entry, for the Texas state agency responsible for benefits administration of 250,000 employees and 50,000 retirees. Designed customizations to fit client requirements including a) stored procedures to dynamically calculate benefit deductions using the same methodology and yielding the same results as PeopleSoft payroll process; b) SQR and Ben Admin setup to administer COBRA within Ben Admin and c) SQRs to automate generation of job table actions for time-related events (e.g., LOA expiration; overage dependents). Designed and tested legacy system conversion and snapshot procedures.

Implemented PeopleSoft 7.5 Ben Admin from Human Resources/Base Benefits/Payroll. Developed SQR to generate ‘Enroll in Benefits’ events into BAS Activity table for new hires (event date set to two month waiting period benefits effective date; thereby presenting new hires with benefit plans and rates in effect as of benefit enrollment date rather than as of hire date). Developed subsystem to track benefit payments for employees on STD.

Implemented PeopleSoft 7.0 Base Benefits, Ben Admin and FSA Administration from legacy system. Upgraded to PeopleSoft 7.5. Developed subsystem to implement policy of benefits payment one month in advance of coverage (generated payroll one time deduction overrides). Developed subsystem to determine eligibility and contributions for profit sharing plan. Developed SQR to load payroll other earnings from claims entered in FSA Administration.
